Zo lang ze zich kan herinneren, maakt Tatiana ambachtelijke dingen, vooral met textiel. Later kwam daar de schilderkunst bij. In 2010 startte ze met de opleiding aan de kunstacademie in Kiev (Oekraïne). Twee jaar later richtte ze haar eigen kunstschool ARTOS op en in 2018 begon ze als docent bij GLOMADO waar kunstenaars online workshops geven over traditionele lokale ambachten aan Amerikaanse kinderen. In 2020 startte ze in Kiev het kunstproject WonderKIDS voor kinderen die speciale aandacht nodig hebben (kinderen met autisme, downsyndroom, hersenverlamming, slechthorendheid). Kunstzinnige therapie helpt hen bij het overwinnen van hun angsten en het leren omgaan met leeftijdsgenoten.

 

For as long as she can remember, Tatiana has been crafting things, especially with textiles. Painting was added later. In 2010 she started training at the art academy in Kiev (Ukraine). Two years later she founded her own art school ARTOS and in 2018 she started teaching at GLOMADO where artists give online workshops on traditional local crafts to American children. In 2020 she started the art project WonderKIDS in Kiev for children who need special attention (children with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, hearing impairment). Art therapy helps them overcome their fears and learn to interact with peers.

 

Tatiana schildert het liefst zeegezichten, maar ook landschappen en stillevens. Dat doet ze op een impressionistische manier. Haar schilderijen bevinden zich in privécollecties in Oekraïne, Duitsland, de VAE, het Verenigd Koninkrijk, de VS, Ierland, Singapore, Griekenland, Italië en Libanon. Daarnaast is ze sociaal activist, organisator en deelnemer van kunsttentoonstellingen en helpt ze mee bij liefdadigheidsevenementen.

 

Tatiana prefers to paint seascapes, but also landscapes and still lifes. She does this in an impressionistic way. Her paintings are in private collections in Ukraine, Germany, UAE, UK, USA, Ireland, Singapore, Greece, Italy and Lebanon. In addition, she is a social activist, organizer and participant of art exhibitions and helps with charity events.

 

Nederland

Tatiana: ‘Vrij snel nadat ik in Nederland ben aangekomen, heb ik me verbonden met het Living Museum. Hier begon mijn werk met de creatie van een Oekraïense motanka-pop. De afgelopen maanden heb ik workshops gegeven aan kinderen, aan vrijwilligers van Hulp voor Oekraïne en aan leerkrachten van het basisonderwijs in Vught. Daarnaast heb ik deelgenomen aan de Multiculturele Middag in DePetrus.

Het doel van de workshops is om kennis te maken met de cultuur en het erfgoed van Oekraïne. Ook zijn de workshops goed voor de ontwikkeling van je vingermotoriek én een fijne manier om met andere creatieve mensen samen te zijn. Ik kijk er erg naar uit om hier nieuwe projecten te starten en schilderijen te maken.’

Tatiana: 'Quite soon after I arrived in the Netherlands, I connected with the Living Museum. Here my work started with the creation of a Ukrainian motanka doll. In recent months I have given workshops to children, to volunteers from Aid for Ukraine and to primary school teachers in Vught. I also participated in the Multicultural Afternoon in DePetrus.

The purpose of the workshops is to get acquainted with the culture and heritage of Ukraine. The workshops are also good for the development of your finger motor skills and a nice way to be together with other creative people. I am very much looking forward to starting new projects and making paintings here.”
